The coastal resorts of Liguria are easily reached by train from the airports of Pisa, Genova, Turin or Nice (France).
If you are selecting a holiday combination with a Piemonte or mountain stay, you may prefer to arrive at an airport convenient for the coast and depart from Turin (or vice versa!)

Public Transport in Liguria
Train services along the Ligurian coast are frequent, cheap and reliable.
Lerici, Camogli and the towns of the Cinque Terre all have their own stations, which connect with the main Pisa - Genova – Turin line.
The Italian train web site www.trenitalia.com is very comprehensive and has an English language option.
The train line from Nice to Cuneo is well known as one of the most picturesque in Europe and merits a journey in its own right.
