Turin is the closest airport to the Monferrato and Langhe areas of Piedmont, though Milan Malpensa is also an option.

If you are selecting a holiday combination with a sea side stay, you may prefer to use the airports of Genoa, Pisa or Nice (France).

Asti is the closest station to the Monferrato area, and Alba or Cuneo are the closest stations to the towns of the Langhe

The train line from Nice to Cuneo is well known as one of the most picturesque in Europe and merits a journey in its own right.
