Situated in a peaceful panoramic position close to the village of Alfiano Natta, the Castello di Razzano dates from the 17th Century and was sympathetically restored by the current owners in 2006. Many of the original features remain including beams, ceilings, doors and of course the wine cellars. The castle offers outstanding accommodation in the heart of the Monferrato wine producing area.
The views are superb and in addition to the large internal courtyard, there is a peaceful garden with swimming pool and terrace. There is plenty of opportunity for walking locally, and the hotel also provides free mountain bikes.
The Castello di Razzano features a comfortable lounge and pleasant vaulted breakfast room. There is no restaurant, but there are many excellent ones in the local area (between 2-5 km). The owners of the castle also produce wine (mainly Barbera), and they are happy to organise visits to their cellars and wine tasting sessions for guests.
The elegant bedrooms are extremely spacious and comfortable with period furniture and fine views. All have private facilities, air conditioning, mini bar, safe, satellite TV, hairdryer and some have a small ‘courtesy corner’ where drinks and snacks can be prepared.
Our prices are based on accommodation in a Junior Suite. Superior Suites are also available.
A car is recommended for a stay here and private parking is available within the grounds.
