Pensione Ceaglio

Tucked away in a little known and totally unspoiled area of the Italian Alps, not far from the French border, the Pensione Ceaglio is made up of a cluster of sympathetically restored wood and stone houses in the ancient hamlet of Marmora-Vernetti (1,223m), at the upper end of the Val Maira. 

The Pensione Ceaglio offers a warm welcome and provides a relaxing and comfortable base from which to explore this unique Alpine region. 

Centred around a cobbled piazza complete with stone fountain and deck chairs for relaxing and taking the sun, the Ceaglio offers a range of facilities to meet the needs of walkers, road cyclists, mountain bikers and their equipment.

The recently refurbished bedrooms, decorated in modern Alpine style, are comfortable and spacious. 

Our prices are based on accommodation in the A+ superior category rooms, all of which offer en-suite facilities.

Your stay at the Pensione Ceaglio is on a half board basis and the delicious home cooked cuisine features both Piedmont and Italian specialities.

The walking and mountain biking in the region is superb with more than 700 km of trails, with something to please all levels, from the novice to the most experienced.  Road cyclists have the opportunity to try some of the stunning mountain passes which feature in the Giro d'Italia road cycling race.
