Entreves is a delightful historical hamlet approximately 4km from central Courmayeur, in a spectacular valley at the foot of Mont Blanc. Entrèves is served by its own cable car that arrives in Pre de Pascal and links to the Courmayeur ski area. It is also convenient for the scenic Monte Bianco cable car, the starting point for the famous Valle Blanche off piste descent, and is an ideal spot from which to visit the Val Ferret for walking or cross country skiing.
During the day the hamlet is well served by public transport. |

Dolonne is a small historical hamlet situated just over a kilometre from central Courmayeur. It is an ideal spot for families and beginners, as there is a spacious area close to the village centre with moving carpet lifts as well as a children’s playground.
The new gondola from Dolonne arrives in Plan Checruoit, the main starting point for the Courmayeur ski school.
The Courmayeur sports centre is also situated in Dolonne, and features a large ice skating rink as well as other sporting facilities.
Public transport into central Courmayeur is excellent during the day. |
